[Notice of Exhibit] ART KAOHSIUNG 2022 (The Pier-2 Art Center）

Obinata will be exhibiting at “ART KAOHSIUNG 2022”, which will be held at the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from November 10 (Thu.) to 13 (Sun.), 2022.

“ART KAOHSIUNG” is an art fair that has been gaining international recognition every year since it was first held in 2013, attracting a great deal of support. With its scale expanding with each passing year, 66 galleries from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, and other countries played a part in 2019, featuring 300 artists and over 3,000 artworks on display.

The venue, the Pier-2 Art Center, is a renovated art space complex in a former warehouse district under the themes of “avant-garde”, “experimentation”, and “innovation” that straddles the Yancheng District and part of the Gushan District in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, serving as a popular spot where many fans of art and culture gather every day.

How will Obinata’s art, which have been exhibited around the world in Paris, New York, Singapore, and more with high acclaim, be seen by the art fans gathering in Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s art hot spot? A total of six works, including “Yamadera ni Aki”, will be shown in this exhibition. Our hearts are beating with anticipation.
